Organisations supported

2026

The Mountain Care Project supports associations working to protect the environment in Alpine regions and to improve access to the mountains.

Les Enfermés Dehors

The organisation

Les Enfermés Dehors introduces young people who are geographically or socially isolated from the mountains and nature to these environments. The association develops their independence through supervised activities, safety education, and an approach that respects the mountain environment.

The association organizes two weekly programs for groups of young people aged 6 to 16, featuring Wednesday outings in the mountains and activities such as hiking, skiing, rock climbing, and caving. The program promotes social inclusion, self-confidence, independence, and an introduction to mountain-related professions

CoMet’

The organisation

CoMet’ works to promote social diversity, environmental education, and inclusive access to the mountains. The association supports individuals rebuilding their lives and multicultural groups in becoming more selfreliant by fostering connections, solidarity, and an appreciation for the mountain environment

In 2026, CoMet’ will support 25 to 30 women who are victims of violence through a program of regular hikes that combine mutual support, opportunities for conversation, and awareness of the mountain environment. Participants discover the mountains while gaining confidence, independence, and the ability to take action.

Handicap Inclusion Performance

The organisation

Handicap Inclusion Performance makes the mountains more accessible to people with disabilities through winter sports, particularly skiing, but also develops projects centered on mountain sports beyond the winter season. Affiliated with the French Handisport Federation, the association supports both introductory experiences and access to competition.

The association organizes “Discovery” adaptive skiing camps for people who have little or no experience with mountain sports. Thanks to specialized instruction and partial coverage of transportation, lodging, meals, and equipment costs, these trips make the sport truly accessible.

CIMME

The organisation

CIMME supports young people who have dropped out of school and those seeking employment in careers related to the ecological transition in mountain regions. Through active, hands-on learning, the association brings together dedicated professionals and participants through work projects, field trips, and career exploration.

By 2026, CIMME will roll out “out-of-the-classroom” re-engagement and prequalification programs for 16- to 30-year-olds, combining hands-on projects, exploration of mountain-based careers, and biodiversity awareness. In 2026, the objectives are twofold: to train 10 young people in sustainable tourism and mountain conservation careers, with support toward employment; and, at the same time, to raise awareness among 100 people who are far from the job market about future-oriented careers in the mountains.

Dynamoov

The organisation

Dynamoov promotes inclusion through sports by making the mountains accessible to children with disabilities or medical conditions. The association organizes adapted sporting challenges
and carries out awareness-raising initiatives to change perceptions of disability

In 2026, Dynamoov will organize several inclusive climbs in the Chartreuse, Alpe d’Huez, and Mont Ventoux, alongside children with disabilities. These events combine athletic activities, public awareness, and the promotion of inclusion, notably through the production of a film.

Alpes Là

The organisation

Alpes Là works to make the mountains more accessible and sustainable. The organization raises awareness about the protection of mountain environments, promotes car-free transportation, and develops initiatives to give everyone the opportunity to experience the mountains.

Alpes Là project is developing a cooperative to lend mountain gear to those without their own equipment and organizes introductory outings (hiking, snowshoeing, camping, mountaineering) to promote selfreliance and reduce financial barriers.

Au-delà du Trail

The organisation

Au-delà du Trail organizes activities throughout the year to help people discover, learn about, and preserve the Belledonne Massif. Au-delà du Trail is a project led by the Échappée Belle association, which organizes the “L’Échappée Belle” ultra-trail and helps promote and bring vitality to the mountain region.

Au-delà du Trail offers mountain excursions that combine physical activity with interactions with local stakeholders to promote respectful coexistence among different land uses. The project also includes concrete onthe-ground initiatives: renovating mountain huts, conducting biodiversity surveys, installing trail markers, collecting trash, and promoting public transportation. It aims to serve as a strong link between different land uses to better balance mountain spaces.

En passant par la montagne

The organisation

En Passant Par la Montagne makes the mountains accessible to people facing challenges or social exclusion in order to promote inclusion, social connection, and self-confidence. The association develops communitybased projects, public education initiatives, and training programs focused on the mountain environment.

By 2026, the association will establish three inclusive mountain sports clubs: two for rock climbing and one for hiking. Open to people facing social vulnerability, disability, illness, or exile, these clubs promote regular, accessible, and community-based participation in mountain sports. The project also includes the creation of an inclusive trail running club and the organization of events centered on inclusive mountain sports.

Fondation Université Grenoble Alpes

The organisation

Fondation Université Grenoble Alpes supports public interest projects related to transition issues by bridging the gap between academic circles, local communities, and partners. It supports research, innovation, and science outreach initiatives to make knowledge accessible to as many people as possible.

The LACOSCOPE project follows the evolution of the health of Alpine lakes through the observation of plankton, a sensitive indicator of climate and environmental changes. Researchers, students, and citizens participate in sampling and observations using citizen science tools to generate data useful for the preservation of lake ecosystems.

Maewan

The organisation

The Maewan project works to create a more sustainable future by learning from the knowledge and proven solutions of traditional communities. The association combines environmental advocacy, education, and support for local communities in their ecological transition through expeditions and immersive educational experiences.

Maewan organizes two « Séjours Explorateurs du Vivant » in the midmountain range for young people who are disconnected from nature. This immersive experience combines outdoor activities, biodiversity discovery, and group learning to foster environmental awareness, independence, self-confidence, and mutual support.

CREA Mont-Blanc

The organisation

CREA Mont-Blanc explores how biodiversity is changing in mountain regions as a result of climate change and increasing human activity. Through its work, the association aims to bridge the gap between science and society, helping everyone better understand the changes taking place so they can better adapt to them.

“IntForOut” is developing a methodological framework that combines various data sources (smartwatches, camera traps) to study the impact of recreational activities on mountain ecosystems, particularly through the disturbance of wildlife. It aims to help local stakeholders balance recreational use with biodiversity conservation.

For My Planet

The organisation

For My Planet is a citizenship school that helps young people understand environmental and social issues so they can take more effective action. The association supports middle and high school students through educational programs, eco-citizenship initiatives, scientific expeditions, and gatherings. Young people are then trained in public speaking to give presentations to a variety of audiences.

Through “Operation Glaciers,” For My Planet takes young people on an expedition to Chamonix to learn from scientific experts and mountain guides. Combining glacier exploration, mountain adventures, citizen science, an introduction to mountain climbing, and environmental workshops, the project encourages concrete and sustainable actions in everyday life.

Femmes en Montagne

The organisation

Femmes en Montagne works to make the mountains more inclusive, accessible, and equitable. Through its festival and awareness-raising initiatives, the association highlights women’s participation in mountain sports, promotes gender diversity in outdoor sports, and encourages a more diverse representation of both participants and professionals in the mountain sector.

Association Montagnes et Sciences

The organisation

Association Montagnes et Sciences brings together the mountains, science, and the general public. Through its initiatives, it promotes mountain regions, raises awareness about the preservation of natural environments, and helps make scientific knowledge accessible to everyone.

The Mountains & Sciences Festival features film screenings and discussions with scientists to foster a better understanding of environmental issues and research conducted in the mountains. Through a tour organized across valleys, small towns, and schools, the project provides greater access to scientific culture for audiences who may not typically engage with these topics.
